We have become a fast food
nation where many people do not have the slightest
idea on how to cook, let alone have anything
non-microwaveable in their refrigerators.
Cooking-at-home is being revived from several trends
in the marketplace; few healthy choices eating out
at restaurants, economic pressures forcing Americans
to eat at home, food has become entertainment, the
recent popularity of cooking shows, and the trend
towards eating “Free/Natural Foods.” The popularity
of cookbooks continues to grow based on the
cooking-at-home trends plus the fact that cookbooks
are replacing mothers and grandmothers who
traditionally teach cooking. This book provides
healthy, easy to prepare recipes, that beginning
